ABOUT US
The Bankers Hill Community Group (BHCG) meets on the third Monday of each month, except August and December, at the Bankers Hill Clubhouse, 3030 Front Street. We encourage everyone to walk or bike to our meetings, or take advantage of the free parking.
Each meeting begins at 6 PM with a neighbor "meet & greet", and an opportunity to meet our monthly featured Bankers Hill business.
The general meeting is from 6:30 - 8:00 PM.
Representatives from the Mayor's office, City Council District 3, SD County and CA Congressional offices provide updates and take questions from the audience.
Each monthly BHCG meeting offers presentations of interest to Bankers Hill residents and business owners, as well as to San Diego residents and businesses at large.
Everyone is welcome—No dues!
Named for the civic pioneers who made this their home, today's growing neighborhood of Bankers Hill has an influx of young professionals and emerging businesses melding into an established older community. The energy ignited through websites and social media allows more individuals to be a part of newly formed groups for businesses and residents.
Until the spring of 2011 Bankers Hill had no business association or active residents group. Early in 2011, a volunteer group (with no funding or dues) established monthly meetings to share community information and give residents a voice in neighborhood decisions. The Bankers Hill Residents Group first held meetings at St. Paul’s Cathedral, but have changed location to the Indoor Sports Club (now known as the Bankers Hill Clubhouse), 3030 Front St. We’ve changed our name to reflect our position in the neighborhood. In its first year the residents’ organization created a Facebook page, a website BankersHill.org and worked together with the new Bankers Hill Parking Committee to outreach for pedestrian, bicycling and parking improvement solutions.
Wherever you live, please get involved in groups to make your community better!
The Bankers Hill Community Group is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
